The FIIFF has become a focus of the Franklin, TN arts community, supported by the cultural commission and Tennessee Women in Film and Media, it brings the work of international filmmakers to the greater Nashville area. As a board member of TWIFM, I provided social media strategy and contributions to help raise awareness in this 4th year.
Briner Institute exists to continue the work of Bob Briner and his pivotal book, Roaring Lambs. It is joining with Lipscomb Entertainment University leaders to discover where our vision and mission converge. It’s a think tank with a missional purpose.
Confident of this production on the life of Queen Esther making it all the way to Broadway. This weekend was a simple proof of concept filming to take the production to text stage of funding. Producer Rachel Stange has a fresh vision to create this historical narrative into a deeply woven dance dynamic. The music is being written by Nashville writers and producers Jeremy Johnson and David Wise. The lead will be performed by Sharna Burgess of Dancing with the Stars.
I couldn’t be more enthusiastic as I join the producing team to make this vision real.
Looking forward to this pinnacle event. Leading filmmakers in the faith friendly community are joining together to dialogue and determine new ways to communicate through our creative. I am honored to be included in this intimate setting with so many exceptional influencers.
Nashville Film Festival is one of the oldest film festivals in the US. Annually over 40,000 people participate in this much loved city event. It is also an Academy Award qualifying festival. I look forward to representing TWIFM at the event and all the great creative content that will be consumed in theaters all around town. I’ll be participating in the screening of the pitches for judgement. I look forward to hearing the pitches and working with NFF team.
Attended this annual gathering at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel for meetings on HEREAFTER HERE. Lots of great movement in this Faith and Film focused industry. Always an inspiration to see the work others have created for broadcast and distribution. Cheers to all the successes of all in 2018!
Returning to LA for follow-up meetings on two television focuses, Blackhouse: The Brotherhood and French Flip. In addition, first pitches of two scripted projects for television: Diplomacy and Diamonds and Hereafter Here.
Proud to be included in this inaugural event. I was speaking on the Faith and Film panel. My focus was to encourage Christian creatives to create a deeper conversation that connects with our culture, maintain high standards as a producer or director both professionally and personally and create award winning productions.
Industry leaders in production and distribution joined together with creators for a conference in Nashville. Their were panels and pitch meetings. I was included in the Women in Film panel and received pitches from some of the creators. This is an annual event and well attended by both leadership and creators. Thanks to the founders for all their hard work.
